Emergency Candidate Selection for the Parliamentary Candidate - where and when

25 April 2017

Candidate statements and ballot papers will be made available to fully paid-up members at a meeting that will take place on Tuesday 2nd May 2017 at 7.30pm in Seminar Room 3D on the 3rd floor of the library at Kingston University, Penrhyn Road, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 2EE. Please arrive at Reception before the meeting to avoid difficulty finding the room. A hustings will take place if there is more than one nomination. If your membership subscription has lapsed you will not be able to vote.

Completed ballot papers must be returned to Peter Whitworth (anonymously into a ballot box) before 9pm on the night and will be counted immediately after the ballot has closed. If you are unable to attend the meeting and wish to read the candidates' statements and/or vote by email/post/proxy, please also email membership@kingston.greenparty.org.uk.

The result will be announced straight away, and to any local party officers and nominees who are not present, by email before the end of the following day Wednesday 3rd May 2017.

Kingston Green Party committee meets once a month. Meetings are usually at the The Quaker Centre at 7.30pm. The dates of the next few meetings in 2017 are - Tuesday May 9th, Tuesday June 27th, Tuesday July 25th and Tuesday 5th September (no meeting in August)
