Nominations must be received no later than midday on Monday 3 May 2017 (via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to 137 Raeburn Avenue, Surbiton, KT5 9DD and must contain:
Completed nomination consent form containing the written consent of the nominee and the signatrues of two nominators, who must live in teh constituency and be fully paid-up members of the Green Part of England and Wales.
Completed nomination statement form;
Supporting statement of no more than 500 words;
Recent head and shoulders photograph (digital jpg please).
Please contact us as soon as possible via this email if you intend to stand so that we can provide you with the necessary forms and verify that you are eligible.
Nominees do not have to live in the constituency, but they do have to be fully paid-up members of the Green Party of England and Wales to be eligible to stand.
Candidates’ statements and ballot papers will be made available to fully paid-up members at a meeting the date and time to be confirmed very soon but probably either the 2nd or 3rd of May.
A hustings will take place if there is more than one nomination.
If your membership subscription has lapsed you will not be able to vote.
Kingston Green Party committee meets once a month. Meetings are usually at the The Quaker Centre at 7.30pm. The dates of the next few meetings in 2017 are - Tuesday May 9th, Tuesday June 27th, Tuesday July 25th and Tuesday 5th September (no meeting in August)
